On the shore of the lake at the foot of Lugansk city of San Giorgio is a tower, sharply contrasting with the surrounding houses. To date, it is no less famous than House over a waterfall (Fallingwater) by Frank Lloyd Wright. The villa was designed by Mario Botta (Mario Botta) for one of his friends in view of its relatively modest incomes. Tower with a base 11 x 11 m, has four levels with spacious terraces, planted on the central core of the stairs. In the simplest outer frame enclosed the complex internal volumes. Below – a living area with kitchen, living room and located diagonally across from the entrance to the triangular fireplace. On the second and third floors housed bedroom and nursery, on the fourth – the studio owner. As you move up the volumes of this kind of reinforced concrete “shelves” are becoming more open, giving residents opportunities to interact with the natural surroundings. From the top floor to the side of a mountain thrown openwork metal bridge, painted in red, sharply contrasting with the surrounding nature.
