The design nature cabin is located on nine acres of land surrounded by forest with a river that flows through the site. Preserve the fragile ecosystem of the river became the main priority in this eco house design, while maintaining the functionality and style. Many large windows and glass doors open to the outside entertaining area, inviting the outside and add another element of this modern nature of the river front of the house. With kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and bathroom, all needs have been taken into account. The Tye River Cabin, located in Skykomish, Washington, and was designed by Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, is everything must be environmentally friendly cottage – small, sweet, inspired by nature and built in harmony with it. This small cottage covers only 600 sq ft, but it packs a big punch in this compact space. As for style, organic finish provides country-cabin chic look with the reclamation of old growth Douglas fir and poured-concrete fireplace home heating rough.
