Villa Nyberg is a part of the first set of Swedish houses designed Kjellgren Kaminsky. It is designed as a home environment and is located in Borlänge, central Sweden. The idea of passive houses is based on the knowledge that people and generate domestic a large amount of energy. That is why passive houses are very well insulated buildings that are largely heated by the energy already present in the building. Energy simulations have shown that Villa Nyberg power consumption for heating only 25 kWh / m² year. The heating loss is an important feature of the house. The round shape of the town Coldbridges eliminates and reduces the dead space of the house. Also the effects of form which is the home during one days will pass from one room to another around the building to experience different points of view and daylight.
