This family home is an interesting design of Study Architecture Archimania, and its owner is Barry Alan Yoakum. The house is located in Memphis, Tennessee, and has been designated as the “Sky Cottage.” A bucket of white brick, which is what is aligned with the urban landscape, and down the terraced houses surrounding the home. While the other component is formed by a high steel box, a horizontal volume and forms a corner. This volume looks forward, the front of the house, responding directly to achieve excellent river views. One side of this box, look toward the Mississippi River, and to take advantage of views to this landscape, the whole front is glass. A wall made entirely in glass , allowing an unobstructed and comprehensive environment. This project presented the challenge of designing and building the house in a quite narrow, so that housing has been developed on three floors or floors, and with generous views. On the top floor, the highest level of the house, is where the most private area, master suite, which can be maximized the views of the landscape.
