Northland House is designed by Parsonson Architects sit high enough to overlook Wellington Harbour , New Zealand. It is oriented in two directions, east to the harbor and the hills and the west by the afternoon sun . From the road to the house peers sternly over the courtyard wall of protection, while the open spaces inside and feel very connected with the outside. The patterns of surface materials are not strongly influenced by the tapestry of the earth from the sky. Floor and wall coverings and material change of texture, since the level of execution from the west patio , through the living room to the deck and out west. The wings of the plan focus the views of either east or west and near the house to the neighbors to the north and south.
