This house was built for a country holiday extended family: mother, her two married sons and daughters with their families. The objective of the project was to make the house as associated with nature and having a great platform for dialogue and contemplation of the magnificent natural surroundings. David Guerra has managed to create an architectural image of a modern Brazilian architecture and the use of natural materials, primarily wood and stone, has allowed to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Selected materials combine beauty, practicality and ease of maintenance, create a contrast between natural and technological materials and, at the same time, ensure their compatibility – when building a house used by several species of wood, stone, ceramics, bamboo, tile, fiber, metal, stainless steel, the packets with double glazing and laminated glass, glass tile, anodized aluminum, the Venetian blinds.
