Located in Shunan (Yamaguchi, Japan) and next to some rice fields, this is a detached house with two floors built with a wooden structure, which hardly goes unnoticed by their double-height spaces, both indoors and outdoors. The building becomes a prism to which they have been removing parts, at least that is the image that gives the roof, with several gaps in it, from entry level to the underside. The facade with the best views of rice fields is well glazed, especially the upper deck, while the opposite side of the house is completely opaque. Although we have no plans of building, it is always a good exercise to go through the photos to discover your organization. The house in Shunan is a project of Satoru Inoue. Photos Toshihisa Ishii.
