Totally unique, this home designed by architect Thomas Phifer has something aback. In most basic terms, the house is a composition made of cedar, lined with plywood and maple covered on both sides by screens and perforated corrugated stainless steel. The desire of the owners was simple shack recreating their childhood in harmony with the natural environment. Target achieved and so much more luxurious than a shack made of branches! Innovative element, the choice of materials and their use gives a home by changing the brightness of the day. Thus, it sometimes seems elusive and light as a mirage, its edges seem to melt into the wooded landscape and the next moment, by a play of shadow and light, it seems monumental and massive.
