Green Residence originally developed for the construction of the blocks increased prefabrication – on-site only planned installation of utilities. However, the contractor eventually abandoned the project architect and the client agreed to continue their work independently, with the new local contractor within the accepted concept.
Despite the specific design decisions, the house was built and still serves as a laboratory of ideas of Paul Rudolph in industrial construction, as well as a magnificent example of innovative architecture and advanced time.
Of particular interest are the spatial solutions, performance and technological level of the project. In addition, the house can be considered the prototype of what today we call green architecture.
