In 2010, from February to July, I was able to participate in the project, which launched the Dutch experts in the last year in the Hogeschool Zuyd – Heerlen-Faculteit Bouw. «District of tomorrow» – draft environmental, energy, or in general «sustainable» area, in a place called Avantis in the south of the Netherlands. The project and program related to it, I and several other students of different specialties from NNGASU (Nizhny Novgorod gosudarsvenny Architecture and Engineering) began developing the concept of home with zero energopotrbleniem (zero-energy house) for the Russian conditions on the basis of knowledge and experience of Dutch experts . First of all, I would like to talk about several homes, trips on which we kindly ran our Dutch teachers. In the area where we lived, was not so much saving private homes, but they nonetheless deserve great attention for understanding the issues of energy conservation in architecture. “Carivsen” – one of the first demonstration of the sustainable development of the Netherlands and houses with low energy consumption, based on observations of whom will later be developed into new projects. District includes 54 blocked at home, bred in the city of Heerlen, in the south of Holland. Unit consists of two residential floors and the attic, placed there with technological equipment hot water system. The first floor includes a carport, lounge, spacious living room, kitchenette, storage space for inventory and other things needed in a small house with a plot. On the second floor is accessed by a fairly narrow and steep staircase with zabezhnymi steps. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has access to the loggia of the stained glass windows.
