Building a Hotel Landscape

One of the residential areas Gudbrandsjuvet, Knut Slinning, is building a hotel landscape (‘landscape hotel’). The idea came from elsewhere, Aurland, but it was abandoned. The hotel has 7 rooms, where each individual house is a small independent one. Each room is a small shelter with a double bedroom, bathroom and living room-veranda open to the views presented by the forest, likewise each of the rooms was designed differently from the previous one and are arranged so that they are completely separate physically and visually. The landscape in which these rooms are located is considered by many spectacularly beautiful and varied topography allows for a distribution where no two rooms look to the next. In this way the whole room gets its own breathtaking view of an area of spectacular scenery, ever changing with time and the time of day and season.
