E ‘were presented with the’Alexander Museum Palace Hotel, named after its owner, Count Alessandro Marcucci Ferruccio Valfesina of Pine. A few years ago the count found a hotel at number 20 of Viale Trieste, Pesaro seafront, to realize his dream: a hotel-installation. In building were involved famous and emerging artists, to which the count has commissioned the works to be inserted directly into the frame of his hotel. ”There are many hotels art – says the Earl of Valfesina – but for the first time in this hotel, the artists have worked on site, along with workers who were putting up the hotel, and have created works exclusive, on my committee.” The property is spread over nine floors and has 63 rooms, each of which has been completely revised by an artist, who took care of every detail, furnishing (restoring the furniture already in the hotel) at the edge, working for over a month. ”Every door of the hotel is a framework, each corridor is a gallery”said the Count of Valfesina, Nani for his friends. In fact, the front door of each bedroom will be the artist’s name and date of completion of the work, just as if it were a picture in a museum. The works, of course, will be protected by an important safety net: four alarm systems and 22 cameras watching for any installation. On the cornice of the hotel will also be three exclusive restaurants, including a basement that will be called ‘ Taverne art ‘and will have a garden with sea sand and a ceiling mirror and where you can taste the typical dishes of the Marche. In the hotel are represented all kinds of contemporary art, from sculpture to photography through portraiture and modern writers.
