The owners of this apartment, bought the walls when it was still a dark, abandoned warehouse in central Amsterdam, but now, we are faced with a very nice and cozy loft, organized as a large open space, with a clear division between living and sleeping area. The two areas are in fact separate from the bathroom at the center, focal point of this house: the shape and the coating choice makes it virtually unique. The bathroom walls are made up of over 1000 glass blocks very special thanks to their shape, are in fact almost a bright and decorative sculptural object in itself. In reality, the special blocks consist of Ikea pots painted white and glued with transparent glue. The visual effect is undoubted. The restructuring of the loft has been edited by Remco Wilcke and Marloes van Heteren.
