The Casa 007 is designed by Rob Paulus Architects for a single individual in his mid- 30s. It is a modern bachelor apartment located on the edge of a neighborhood, at the University of Arizona. The house is designed for indoor living outdoors in a small place and within a tight budget. Two insulated masonry walls defining the enclosure to the east and west from floor to ceiling glass in the north and south rooms with great views . A large marquee south overhangs to shade the interior of the desert sun , while imposing a limit to the southern courtyard . Inside the house is designed as a loft. Among the green design features include passive solar water heating and rainwater collection .
